Which way to go?

This is an illusion knitted cushion but it is doubly confusing because it has arrows pointing in both directions. I always see the brown arrows first and have to look harder to see the green ones - then they start jumping backwards and forwards.

One of the photos shows the knitting with the cushion pad inside; another shows it laid flat, which is how you see the effect most clearly. The third photo shows what you seen when you look straight down on the knitting.

The back is plain brown.
