This toilet roll cover was made for the Danny Wallace TV programme How To Start Your Own Country. The cover depicts the flag which was designed for the country of Lovely.

Any establishment displaying Danny’s flag could declare itself an embassy. This cover was called Bog Standard. It was used as a prop on one programme and the photograph taken in our bathroom was used as the closing shot of the final inter-active programme of the series.

We also made a pair of mittens which were plain on one side, with a flag on the other side so that King Danny could choose which way to wave to his people.
