At approximately 29cm (11.5”) by 41cm (16”) this illusion knit design is intended to be used as a small wall hanging or as the front of a laptop cover or cosy. The chart I have drawn up for the piece can be easily modified to make the hanging or cosy slightly smaller or infinitely larger to suit the use that it is put to. Without its border it used approximately 70 metres in each of two colours on 3.25mm needles.

The photographs show the piece displayed as a wall hanging but also include those images rotated to show the totally different impression gained when the illusion is used as a laptop cover. The final photograph shows the illusion when viewed from directly in front and tends to explain the name I have given the piece of work.

Because this piece is experimental I do not intend that it will be available for purchase. I will however make the chart itself available to anyone who is interested.
