I was asked to make sensory twiddle bags for a children’s hospice.

I decided to make the first a little sea-themed. I’ve included shiny, smooth, hard, soft, rough, fluffy, smooth and crackly.

Second sensory bag made in red black white for child who can only perceive those colours.

To make the chunky spiral shown on sea scape bag: Make a loop with 5 chains or magic ring,
then crochet 5 chains followed by 17x triple crochets (3x around the hook) into the loop,
slip stitch into top of the 5 chain,
crochet 3 chains, double crochet into next chain, pull through first two loops,
then crochet both doubles together, double crochet into next two chains,
crochet together,
repeat 7 x then slip stitch into first double. Tie off
