Notes

I love autumn. Fall is my favorite season. I wanted to make an acorn cap for my little boy. There are loads of acorn cap patterns, but none of them look like an actual acorn cap. So I am designing one. A real acorn cap is so beautifully complex, with overlapping diamonds. I picture a wood elf wearing one on his head. The yarn color way is oak. I think that is fitting. :-) Knit bottom up, in the round. A great way to use a single skein of sock yarn!

2 hats knit - 1 baby, 1 toddler.
The baby size used over half a skein.
Pattern has 5 sizes - baby, toddler, child, pre-teen, adult s
