Notes

My First Sweater Design! :-) I’m very excited. The pattern is out!

Knit top down, in the round, this is a fairly quick, seamless knit. It features a twisted stitch spiderweb on the front. But wait, where is the spider? Don’t look now, but something is sneaking up on you from behind!

2/15 - Received yarn. Love the color.

2/20 - Swatch / gauge tests.

2/25 - Tweak pattern outline. Lots of math. :-)

3/1/13 - Started knitting the first sweater!

5/22/13 - And done! This actually took half as much time. Days went by where I never touched my knitting. Two boys three and under will do that! I actually used exactly 4 balls of yarn, with nothing to spare, so I would encourage getting 5 in case.

Now to crunch numbers, and expand the pattern into six different sizes…

6/22/13 A photo shoot, in the middle of summer, in the Deep South, in a wool sweater. Mid 90s today. I will try to look like I’m not melting! Early morning to beat the worst heat.

6/25/13 Off to the Tech Editor!

7/17/13 - Posted in the testing pool.

9/8 - And it won a blue ribbon and best of show at the fair!

9/15 - The pattern is released!
