  • Knit in a 3ply handspun hand dyed targhee wool.
  • Custom fit using EZ’s percentage system.
  • Started with a tubular cast on and ended with a tubular bind off.
  • Background of reverse stockinette stitch.
  • Every 4th stitch is slipped on every other round.
  • I’m very happy with the way I was able to get the slipped stitches columns to join together at the raglan seams’ central double decreases.

I have decided that I don’t like the shorter length that I made this sweater. I’m now in the scary process of “Sweater Surgery”. I cut a row just above the ribbing and I’m going to add another 3 and a half inches before grafting it back to the upper portion of the sweater. This reconstruction has a deadline of only 4 days from now since I want to wear the altered sweater to FibresWest on the weekend.

Alteration of the sweater was successful! I finished an entire day ahead of schedule. Grafting wasn’t perfect, but after a bit of duplicate stitch correcting even I can’t easily find the grafted round.
