One mitt weighs 15 grams. This pattern is ad libbed. Pics to come when the second one is done. I would give it a big grin rating instead of a smile if it were with a solid yarn so the lace would show better. But it’s still cute.

Finished! This was knitted in the spaces between other activities. With focus, it could be a very quick gift! They fit ok, but my personal preference is for a closer fit. The stitch pattern is from “365 Knitting Stitches a Year Perpetual Calendar” (Diamond Panel, January 29).

I’ve been knitting very simple mitts lately to warm up after some time off from knitting. They’re great for this because they’re more fun than a dishcloth or swatch! Just joined some mitt groups … I think I’m getting addicted …
