Notes

Let’s see how quick of a knit these actually are. Found out yesterday that David’s 3rd grade teacher is having a retirement reception on Thursday. I got one almost done today. If I can get them both done tomorrow I can even soak them and block them and hopefully they’ll be dry by 4 pm on Thursday.

Wed night, and they’re done! I’ll soak them in the sink for a minute and they’ll have all night to dry.

Thursday morning update - they were on a towel all night and still very damp. I’m hanging them up on a towel rack and hoping for the best.

All in all, a very great and easy pattern. I had a small ball leftover of the Shamrock. If I get more of this heavy worsted weight stuff, these would be great gifts to have on hand.
Thursday afternoon update - still not dry. I’m putting them in a sunny window and crossing my fingers. And rotating them every so often.

Time to leave for the retirement party update - just barely damp on the wrist ribbing. I think it took longer for these to dry than it did for me to knit them, if you measure actually working hours. Duly noted.
