Notes

Started with 7 sc in magic ring, increased to 21 sc over 3 rounds for base.

Worked in BLO of last round of base and worked tree starting with 21 sts around continuing just as shown in the pattern diagram.

Used wooden beads for the single stitch rounds.

I think i may have started with an H hook, and then accidentally picked up the G after a couple of rows of the trunk. Too late to switch by the time i noticed, so the majority is done with the G hook. Used 7 (4.5mm) hook for some of the smaller branches and for the base.

Cut a round of black felt and a round of Plastic Canvas to fit inside the bottom and keep it flat. Cut a length of black felt to line the base of the tree to keep the pellets from popping out. Put a couple of river rocks in the bottom to weight it and put about a half-inch layer Poly Pellets to fill in and add more weight to the bottom, then stuffed with Poly-Fill from the bottom up as I worked each branch.

Pseudosphere base of 1 increase in every 2 stitches around; 1-1-2 like the start of the Fibonacci sequence. I think i did 5 rounds then folded with 5 ruffles and did sc around in the same sequence working through the ruffles where they overlap to hold them folded flat as letting them ruffle up like on my tunisian bonsai overwhelmed this tree.

Forgot to measure before sending.
