So I started this project, got all the way throgh the first set of Lace repeats and realized that I had been doing the ssk incorrectly for 5 rows. Rather than tinking 5 rows of lace, I just frogged it.

Now, It’s taken me 3 times to cast on with the proper number of stitches, and finally after re-casting on 108 stitches, 3 times, I messed up the ribbing. Obviously, this hat does not want to be made right now.

OKAY! here we go again! I have re-cast on and this stupid bunch of yarn is going to become a beautiful hat that I will wear on those days where I don’t have the time to do my hair.

This pattern really hates me…I must have skipped a stitch at the beginning of the second lace repeat, because it was MESSED UP YO! had to ink 3 rows and redo -_-’ moving forward again though! (this is what I get for learning lace while watching Sherlock…)

DADADADAAAA!!!! It is finished! I am currently blocking it around 2 plates so that it Is more of a beret shape, and then I shall wear it and be happy! YAY!
