I did not knit the cable pattern per Jeffs request and the diamond repeat still worked out perfectly with no issues & was even on both sides.

I also picked up the stitches around the neck to knit the collar instead of knitting it as a separate piece and seaming it on. I worked as many rows as I needed to seam it accross the front neck bind off & picked up just about every stitch up the 2 neck edges and around the back neck and it worked perfectly & sits nicely after wet blocking.

Jeff loves it & the yarn is the perfect weight for him since he gets hot easily. It’s lightweight & I loved working this faux cable diamond pattern!
