Faraway, So Close was the final installment in KnitCrate’s 4-month shawl series, a series that has prompted me to make shawl after shawl after shawl. I’m still learning to be comfortable wearing them, but they’re so satisfying to knit that I’ve made more than just those for which I’ve received yarn and patterns.

As others have said, this is a fun shawl to knit - the pattern stitches change every few rows. And knit in worsted weight, it’s a super quick knit.

I rarely make a pattern more than once, but I can imagine a time in the future when I try this one in fingering weight, which should give me a nice neckwarmer. I’m much more comfortable wearing those!
