Washed/Blocked Gauge with 5mm needles:
16sts and 24 rows (4”x4” square)

This is a space in my projects for a mod coat I have been wanting to design for myself for the impending winter season…

I’ll attempt to record the pattern as I knit it and then either publish on my blog, or submit it to one of the online/published knit mags.

11/16- Notes on the yarn: I love this friggin’ yarn. It is so soft and squishy and knits up incredibly quick. It will probably be quite warm, too!

11/18- Left and right panels completed, halfway through knitting the back panel. After that are the sleeves and collar!

11/24- Back panel complete. Sides sewn together.

01/02- Sleeves in progress. Back on track.
01/06- Sleeve #1 complete.
01/09- Sleeve #2 complete.
01/11- Working on collar…
01/16- Troubleshooting collar…

01/17- Buttons and details (pockets, sleeve details, etc.)

01/18- Troubleshooting proportions and editing pattern…

05/06- finally finished this with the proportions okay. I will update them via charts/excel.

05/16- pattern ready for testing…

06-07- pattern test knitted… so many updates to be had!
