Spectacular yarn and pattern. I highly recommend both, even for a beginning knitter.

Notes:

I did leave out one pattern repeat (I have a short neck) so, I barely broke into the second skein of yarn, plus I tend to be a tight knitter.

I might make another one with a few more pattern sets to make it taller, and take out one of the 12st sets to reduce the circumference, to wear it draped over my head as a hood-like cowl option, which I can do now, just a little too narrow.
