Been in my queue for ages, finally starting it with the wool I bought with my birthday money.

April 14 - Cast on

April 18 -finished through step 4, now to just knit until it’s the length I want, I need to add 9-11 inches.

April 20 - length to where I want it, tomorrow will set aside stitches for arms and begin them. This is working up fast! However, as it is my first sweater, I imagine the next few steps will be a bit slower.

April 21 - didn’t have correct sized DPN’s, but impatient to continue. Knit ribbed section of sleeve 1 flat, to be seamed up at end. Now working sleeve 1 on 2 7mm circular needles; first time doing this, but almost prefer it to DPNs!

April 24 - Finished 1 sleeve, starting on second.

April 26 - both sleeves finished, here come the owls!

April 27 - sleeves attached, halfway through owl chart. Hoping to finish tomorrow! As a bonus, I learned how to read a chart :)

April 28 - Finished! Very proud of my first sweater :)
