Ludwik literally wore the first pair to pieces, and asked me if I could knit him a new pair. I’m using different (hopefully hardier) yarn this time, and making a few mods to the charts.
Like last time, I made the hand a bit longer by adding plain rows and a charted row that mimics the one at the top of the cuff. I also added in some specks to break up the long floats.
For the fingers, I used the long-tail cast on to add the additional stitches, which keeps the base of the fingers from being too tight. I also went up a needle size for the fingers and added a repeat to the thumb chart.
