I love how quickly worsted weight socks knit up!

I’m basically knitting this exactly like my last pair, with a couple of modifications based on the kinds of socks my mum likes.

Cuff: 1.5 inches 1x1 rib
Leg: Work pattern until leg measures 7 inches, ending with knit row
Heel: 30 rows of slip-stitch
Foot: Knit in pattern until foot measures 7.5 inches (ending with purl row). Knit six plain rows + set-up row.
Toe: Decrease every-other round until 20 stitches remain. Kitchener shut.
