My Little Guy (Who’s Not So Little These Days…) needs a hat! Doesn’t have one & it is in single digits. Had hoped to finish it in one night but unfortunately, I didn’t. But definitely figure I can over the weekend.

I had spun the Loop Bump specifically for him. He had originally said he wanted a bear out of it. But I think it is actually better suited for a hat. And I wanted something wool that he would love the colors on so maybe he will actually WEAR IT! Not taking bets…but hoping…

I measured his head and was amazed to see he has a 21” circumference. Only a 1/2” less than me. And was also astonished to find his older sister is only a 1/2 smaller than him at 20 1/2”! So kudos to Ann’s pattern. It says 4 years to small adult. It really does nail the sizing.

Did 2x2 rib as I want it to be nice and stretchy. It works well & makes it more squishy!

For the 1st round of decreases, I did k2, p2tog. For the 2nd, k2tog, p1.
