Project 1 for Camp Loopy 2013

Comedy of miscalculations! I finished this at 10:30 PM on June 30. Somehow, on the last day of knitting for this project, the four hours I thought I had left turned into about EIGHT hours (I’d counted the remaining rows, but had neglected to account for the fact that each “remaining row” was, in actuality, TWO remaining rows). And then I came so close to running out of yarn (more ill-considered mathematics), that in the end, I had about 2 yards left over. Whew!

Color pooled in a very interesting and unexpected way. It kind of looks like I scribbled on the finished shawl!

Blocked measurements: 60” wide, 19” deep.
