05/17/10 — Button acquired and affixed. (Button: JHB #471, 7/8” genuine shell.)

05/11/10 — Finished! Ran out of yarn so I only did 8 lace repeats length-wise (instead of 9) and a barely-4-ridge garter stitch hem. I made an I-cord button loop and attached it. (Still need a button!) It’s currently soaking in a wool wash… in the hopes that the yarn will soften up. On to the second baby cardigan!

05/10/10 — Just remembered that I have to knit something for my friend’s sister! (I knew I had to… but I thought I had more time!) I hope to have it finished by the end of the day so I can knock out the next one tomorrow. Then, maybe, I’ll make some booties and/or bonnets? ETA: Worked up to the 4th repeat of the lace pattern. All that’s left is 5 lace pattern repeats, 4-ridge garter stitch hem, and button & button closure.
