Notes

06/28/15 — Update: I gave this away to my Reddit Secret Santa 2013 giftee for his then-yet-to-be-born daughter. He sent me an action shot after she was born in late July 2014: http://i.imgur.com/JIdGMQa.jpg

01/21/13 — Finished! I did a border in the white color (2tr in the first gap, *3tr into the next gap, 2tr into the next gap* along the long edges and worked in pattern along the narrow edges) followed by a dc border in yellow. Then I washed and dried it and I love it. I hope the recipient enjoys it!

01/20/13 — Almost a year to crochet a toddler-sized blanket? Well, not quite… The pattern is very simple and very rewarding but after it got too big to carry it with me, I put it down and life happened. I’ve only recently picked it back up again. I am THISCLOSE to finishing it but my cat loves it so much that he jumps into/under/unto it whenever I pull it out of the bag and makes it difficult for me to work on it. I’m currently finished with the main part and am working a border. I’ll probably end up working a second border before I consider it complete.

02/06/12 — Crocheting a tester. I’m enjoying this pattern very much and am looking forward to making this blanket. Color sequence (subject to change): whisker, marlin, maize, pomegranate, honeydew, vinca, doe, flamingo, planetarium, peony, peapod, seraphim, blackberry.
