i’m knitting this with four strands of the malabrigo held together. why, you ask? because i really wanted something closer to dk weight, but it was not to be had on short notice. this seems to be working out well so far. it’s ridiculously soft and has a nice drape. it’ll be hard to give this one away, i think.

i like this pattern a lot. it’s very simple and clean. the subtle swirl to the decreases gives it a nice touch.

update: this is done, and i confess i’ll probably wear it all week until i give it to my brother. it’s soft, comfy and has great lines. the pics don’t do the color justice; it’s much richer and greener than it looks. seriously, buy this yarn. it’s worth the money.
