10/4/15 blocked and gifted! Finished measurements are roughly 70” x 20”.

10/3/15 Ends are woven in and it’s blocking now. I was a little worried it wouldn’t be big enough, but I shouldn’t have been…it grew a LOT. I might have to put it in the dryer for a couple of minutes to rein it in!

10/2/15 Done knitting! Just have to weave in ends and block. I have 2 gm of yarn leftover, so I planned it well!

9/19/15 I had enough yarn to do one extra repeat of section 2. Working on section 3 now!

9/18/15 Done the first 6 repeats of section 2--needs any additional repeats plus rows 1-6 again. Yarn used so far: 55 gm.

9/14/15 Ran out of yarn on my Drachenfels, so I wanted to cast on something new. My MIL has been wanting a wrap so I thought this might work well. I’m going to try to make it a little bigger than the pattern but we’ll see how much yarn I have. I’m using DK weight but on US8s so that it’s a little more drapey.

Had a few false starts getting going on this. The setup rows aren’t that hard but it was a little confusing at first. I’m using two mods suggested by many others: purling (on the RS) the stitch to be dropped instead of knitting it, and on the WS, purling the two adjacent sts tbl. So far, so good.
