Notes

I bought a bunch of this yarn thinking I would make a sweater, but I looked at the Malabrigo reviews on Ravelry and everyone said it pilled something awful. I wasn’t about to spend that kind of money and time on a sweater and have it pilling all over the place. Since I’d already unwound a ball and couldn’t return it, I decided to use this yarn to make my first pair of socks. This yarn was soft and a real treat to work with. I used exactly one skein. Like less than one yard left.

These socks are very cozy and warm. They were wicked easy and didn’t take too long to finish; I think each sock took about 6 hours. And I didn’t have to worry about heel shaping or anything!

The worsted weight yarn means these socks are pretty bulky and don’t fit into all of my shoes, but they do fit comfortably in my Uggs.

Total Cost: $8.80
