My gauge was smaller than the pattern’s so I used the stitch counts for size 1-2 years and the length measurements for size 6-12 months.

I used a long tail cast on, started with a WS row, and worked 12 rows of rib instead of 11 rows.

For the face border I picked up 40 stitches along the sides for a total of 106 sts.
