These socks are a crazy shape. The leg is really long and they are probably way too narrow to ever fit a baby’s chubby feet and legs.

I used smaller needles for the rib and switched to larger needles for the rest of the sock even though the pattern says to use smaller needles for the whole sock. Even with larger needles, I don’t think this sock will stretch to fit a baby’s foot.

I worked the rib for 3.25” instead of 4” because 4” seemed too long.

I worked the sock until the foot measured 3” before decreasing for the toe (instead of 3.5”) for a 4” foot length because 4.5” looked way too long.

I wove in the white yarn ends using duplicate stitch and caught the white yarn every third stitch using this continental-style technique.

The pattern has you bind off 15 stitches for the toe instead of threading the yarn tail through the stitches and cinching them closed, which is a little odd.
