I used a size G 4.25mm hook for the back and front, and size G 4.0mm for the applique and edging.

For all things worked in the round I started with a magic circle instead of chaining 4 and forming a ring.

I added an extra round to the potholder because the appliques seemed to be taking over.

The actual crocheting isn’t difficult, but there are a lot of layers and pieces that have to be sewn together.

I’m not sure if this potholder was designed to be decorative or functional, but I was originally planning to actually use mine. But the applique is so thick - there are three layers of flowers on top of the white overlay - that it may be difficult to actually grab anything. So I decided to hang it on my fridge as decoration instead.

-Yellow: 39g (38g F and B)
-White: 9g
-Green: 9g (5g overlay, 4g edging)
-Pink: 7g (4g flower, 3g edging)
-Purple: 2g
