Frank’s chest is 31” and his neck is 19”.

12/25/21: knit underside per size L, 12.5” long / knit underside size L (41 sts) with length to shaping as size M (5.5”), keep neck shaping open instead of chest / find gauge in stockinette

I had to make some adjustments so the sweater would fit Frankie’s upper chest and neck properly.

I knit size Large back but the finished width was 20” instead of 19”.

I knit the back 17.5” long per size Medium for a finished back length of 20”.

I cast on 33 sts for the underside and worked 7” before shaping. I decreased every 4th row to 23 sts then every other row to 7 sts.

I used size 5 needles for the neck rib and decreased to 80 sts on the first round of rib.
