Whilst visiting my aunt in England in the spring of 2017, she said she would like a lightweight light brown hat that to wear when gardening that she could fit in her jacket pocket when she got too warm. I showed her my Côte-Nord Cap and she said it was exactly what she wanted. I later took a trip to the yarn store down the street and found this yarn and she said it was the perfect color.

Every time I make this hat it’s 10” long when it comes off the needles and shrinks down to 9.5” after blocking.
