I went up two needle sizes for a larger circumference and added 1” length to better fit a man’s head.

I worked the rib for 2.75” instead of 2.5”.

I worked 11 pattern repeats before the crown shaping instead of 10 - 44 rnds before crown shaping instead of 40, 59 rnds total instead of 55 for a finished length of 11”.

I rarely have an opportunity to see my gifts in person once they’ve been mailed off, but Brandon sits next to me in class so I get to see his hat on a regular basis and take lots of pictures!
