Cece is 3 years old in the photo (9/25/19).

There are typos in the pattern regarding putting thumb stitches on hold. For the right mitten I chose to knit 10 sts, place the following 6 sts on hold for the thumb, cast on 2 sts, and knit to end. For the left mitten I knit 8 sts then put the thumb stitches on hold.

I worked another round even after the 2nd round of thumb gusset increases before putting the stitches on hold.

I used this technique for jogless stripes.

-Knit 10, kfb twice, knit to end of rnd

-Knit 10, kfb, k2, kfb, knit to end of rnd

-Knit 10, slip next 6 sts to holder, cast on 2 sts, knit to end of rnd, break color C
-Knit 3 rnds with color D, break color D
-Knit 10 rnds with color E
-Decrease as directed in pattern (6 rnds)
