Lucas is 3.5 years old in the first two photos (9/24/22 and 12/27/22) and 4 years old in the third and fourth photos (3/11/23).

My gauge was smaller than the pattern’s. The chest is 24” instead of 25” and the length is 15” instead of 16”.

Back: 94 rows to shoulder shaping = 14.5” long
Four rows of shoulder shaping instead of six rows: BO 4 sts twice, BO 5 sts twice, BO 5 sts, knit 14, BO 5 sts - 98 rows total = 15” long

R front: start neck shaping on row 85 instead of row 83

L front: I knit buttonholes on rows 43, 61, and 79. I used YO buttonholes instead of bound off buttonholes because the one stitch bound off buttonholes looked sloppy. Buttonhole row: knit 16, YO, k2tog, knit 5, YO, k2tog, knit 2

For the sleeves I started increasing on row 13 instead of row 11, working the last increases on row 49, which is 7.5” long.

For the pockets I worked 22 rows instead of 19 rows for 3.5” length. I sewed the pockets 1.5” from the bottom and 1” in from the side seam.

I used six 1 1/4” toggles from Amazon.
