I used sport weight yarn held double for the hat and aran yarn for the edging, dots, and antennae.

Since my row gauge was off I worked 9 rounds in red instead of 11.

I did HDC instead of SC for the black border because I wanted the hat to be 6” long and it was only 5.75” long with a SC border.

The dots are 1.5” across and the antennae are 2.75” long.
