I used the Paintbox Mittens pattern for color inspiration.

I knit the rib for 3” instead of 4”.

I started the top decreases when the mitten measured 9.5” long (46 rnds).

I started the thumb decreases at 2.5” (18 rnds).

The thrum technique I used was to wrap the yarn around the needle first and then fold the roving over the needle and pull it through so that the roving is to the left of the yarn.

I didn’t fold the roving double and instead used it single ply.

I bought a package of wool roving at Hobby Lobby. I used 5 colors. Each color weighed 0.67 oz. I used 0.18 oz of each color.
