Gauge:

• 23 sts x 48 rows = 4” in garter
• 23 sts x 30 rows = 4” in stockinette

I don’t feel very confident that the first pair of booties I made for Stephanie’s baby will actually stay on, so I decided to make a second pair.

I wanted to make the Just Rosy booties but I wasn’t sure if they would stay on without ribbing to keep them snug. So I used the Small Rose and Small Leaf from the Just Rosy pattern and sewed them onto Prisca’s Baby Booties instead.

I didn’t go down a needle size for the rib because I forgot.

I reversed the back seam once I hit the ribbing so the seam wouldn’t be visible with the cuff folded down. If I were smarter I would have worked the rib in the round so there would be no seam and the booties could be worn both folded and un-folded.

I added a crochet picot edging using a size F (3.75mm) hook. Edging: join with slip stitch, (chain 3, skip next st, slip stitch in next st) repeat to end.
