Since my gauge was larger than the pattern’s I made some adjustments to the stitch and row counts.

-Rep rows 3 and 4 four times - 18 sts
-Work 6 rows even - 4.5” wide x 3” long

Hat:
-Cast on 7 sts, knit across first earflap, cast on 24 sts, knit across second earflap, cast on 7 sts - 74 sts
-Work even for 9 rnds/1.5”
-Change to Black, knit 6 rnds
-Change to Charcoal, knit 3 rnds
-Change to Silver Heather, knit 8 rnds
-Change to Charcoal, knit 3 rnds
-29 rnds total, 5” long
-Change to Black, dec 2 sts - 72 sts
-Work crown shaping per Warm Up Hat - 2.5” long
-Single crochet around bottom of hat - 7.75” long
