I used sport weight yarn held double instead of Aran weight yarn.

I knit this in the round instead of flat.

I used the 8-10 year stitch count since my dad has a small head.

Since I made the circumference smaller I added some length. I started the crown shaping at 9” instead of 8.5” for a finished length of 10.5” instead of 10”.

Measurements:

• Circumference: 13.5” (unstretched)
• Circumference in Stockinette: 18” (72 sts)
• Length: 10.5”
