Notes

I originally made a scrubby for my friend Abby because she’s a neat freak and I knew she would appreciate a good kitchen scrubby.

The text I received from Abby after she used her scrubby for the first time: “Best thing ever!! I’m not buying another sponge until that thing falls apart lol”

She asked me to make her another one and then the other women in my Anatomy class asked for scrubbies too. So I made one for each of them as well as one for myself for a total of five scrubbies.

I worked two rounds instead of three before the scalloped edging so this scrubby would be the same size as my red scrubby because the size of the red scrubby is perfect.

In round two I worked between the round one stitches as suggested in the Circle Scrubby pattern.

I chained 12 for the hanging loop instead of 10 to make it just a little bit longer.

I omitted the hanging loop on my scrubby since I keep it in a sponge caddy. I also managed to squeeze in another DC-group. I may have increased to 26 stitches instead of 24 (I was babysitting while making these) so that could be why.

Each scrubby weighs 12 grams/used 11 yards.

Cost Per Scrubby: $0.27
