Finished, and I LOVE IT!

This is going to BC Canada to a special friend who lives by the sea and collects seaglass during her twice-daily beach walks with her terriers.

Used two different colorways in this yarn held together to get this very substantial result. It’s thick and cozy without being too bulky. I adore the colors of the yarns and they were a dream to knit with. My first experience with Colinette Cadenza and it was a very positive one.

As a headband it’s a rather agressive one—more like a watchcap with no top! As a cowl/neck warmer it fits like a dream—snug enough to block out the winter wind, but not tight and constricting. It slides easily over my huge head so my friend shouldn’t have a problem with it, even with all her wonderful hair!

I can hardly wait to make one of these for myself.
