I used an “E” hook for a tighter end product. I hate show-through with stuffed crocheted pieces.

I’ve found a sweet vintage button with shabby blue paint on it that I want to use. The yarn strands are still attached because I haven’t sewn the button on yet because I don’t know the right way to do that and make sure it’s really tight! :-(((
Anyone know a technique for doing that?
