The squares are solid granny squares taken to 3 rounds and fastened off. Each one takes around 10 minutes to complete.

• The Red Heart Soft yarn ended up giving me exactly 23 squares per skein with not an inch to spare, which was cool because I needed 46 squares exactly. I’m so glad I held out for this exact shade of green!

30 May, 2012 - I began this project in January of this year, then set it aside for a few months. I realized that I have only until mid-June to complete this thing, so I’ve been making 10 squares per day for the last week or so. I’m starting to hate solid grannies, but I have less than 50 of them left to do. Yay!

2 June, 2012 - I finished all 324 of the squares!

3 June, 2012 - I laid all my squares out according to my chart (battling a cat the whole time) and snapped a quick picture. Now I can start slip stitching them all together :)
