The chart! Argh! Works out fine until Row 28, where it has been cut vertically and pasted back together missing three stitches from each row!

Fortunately, each of these rows has two repeats, so I was able to rechart and work out what the missing stitches had to be.

I created the chart in the photo using a Burda-style knitting font.

Hmm, I tried a crochet-chain cast-off, and don’t like how it looks, so I’ll probably unpick it and use the plain cast-off used in the book.
