Notice there are NO plain rows starting at round 45 - row 46 and 48 both have decreases in them.

I knitted a first try on US 00 (1.75mm) needles, but it started to bind around Row 35 and became completely bowl-shaped. (Zoom on second photo, on pink blocking mat, to see both sizes blocked.) I hoped it would block out off the needles, but wasn’t happy with it.

So I cast on a second try on US 0 (2.0mm) needles. This one looks like it will block successfully!

On 1.75 mm needles, 15 cm in diameter
On 2.00 mm needles, 18 cm in diameter
(I am a tight knitter!)

Less than 5 grams of thread each.
