Technically - I did not use the pattern at all. I used the notes that miknits was kind enough to share with me. I just linked to this log cabin pattern because that’s the pattern she used. Inspiration for this blanket was all from her!

06/28/09 - All ends weaved in. This didn’t come out perfectly square as I would have liked but I still LOVE it! I think I’ve decided that it doesn’t need blocking. I cannot (!) wait to gift this and the shower is over a month away! I’m so bad with surprises!

06/27/09 - I’m calling this done! I just need to weave in ends and figure out how I’m going to block it. No more details or pics until the shower in August!

06/17/09 - This is tough - how much to write? Well, I’m almost done with my 4th color ring. 2 more to go! I’m getting better at “picking up stitches”.

06/14/09 -I really like how this is knitting up.

06/11/09 - This is 1 of 3. I need to finish all of them by mid-August. I better get a move on!
