Notes

04/11/08 - DONE!

MODIFICATIONS:
** I knitted the slipper in one piece. Instead of casting off on the sole - I did 4 rows of stockinette (knit, purl, knit, purl) then started increasing for the top.

** I knit both sides of the top of the slipper at the same time by adding another strand. This way I didn’t have to worry about one side getting longer than the other. It just got a little tricky when connecting it all back together at the heel.

04/08/08 - Done knitting with one slipper left to seam. I bought some leather pads to sew to the bottom to make them more slip resistant and last a bit longer.

04/06/08 - These turned out too small! I know it was probably my gauge. It’s a good thing these were so quick to knit. They were well liked. So now I’m knitting another pair with yet another 2 inches added to them.

04/03/08 - This is a super quick knit. I love this yarn! The color is beautiful and it’s the softest superwash I’ve ever felt. I’m using a verigated yarn with no contrasting color so the lattice pattern does not stand out as much - which is fine with me. I wish it would have occured to me to pick up stitches as I was knitting the tops. Oh well - a seaming I will do! :-) Oh - I added an extra inch to the length to make sure that these didn’t stretch too much since the pattern maxed out at size 9.
