Notes

MODS:
--Row 72: kfb (knit into the front and back) of every yo for a fuller ruffle. Followed pattern for following 12 rows.

--Bind off: US11 to bind off. I used a Yarn Over bind off found here (top of page 4). I thought this would blend a little better, hoping it would look more like this (second pic down)…it doesn’t. Oh well - it still looks fine to me and it’s stretchy.

Super, super easy, and quick! This actually turned out bigger than I expected. Instead of a shawlette, I would actually call it a shawl. I probably should have done my last increase at Row 66 since I was using bigger needles and bigger yarn. Though the ruffle is fuller as I had hoped, the extra stitches does weigh down the shawl quite a bit.

02/15/10 - DONE!

02/14/10 - Almost done with this. I’m past the last increase row, 72. I’m hoping to have this done by Wednesday so I can finish a sweater that has been on the needles for almost a year! :-)

CHALLENGE: Finishing a project with this yarn! :-)

This yarn is categorized as DK on Ravelry so I started on US10. After about 8 rows I decided to frog and go down to US9. This is working out much better.
