I love this pattern!!!
haha supposed to be for the Madtosh group SAL casting on January 15th ….I finished it on the 14th I couldn’t wait!!!
I bought 2 skeins of the tart planning to make a large lacy shawl for myself, then decided to do the SAL a search yielded the Holden shawlette with mods by Kessanlin that were perfect for my taste for a shallower shawl….and she happened to also choose tart! I also found this version to be helpful when knitting mine.

I love the yarn and I really enjoyed this design, fun to knit and exciting to finish - Yay! plus I am looking forward to wearing this (mid summer here at the moment!)

so what did I do?

CO 157 stitches

rows 1 - 6 knit as rows 9 - 13 with 2 repeats instead of 3
rows 7 - 44 as per pattern
then repeat the lace pattern with increasing repeats (5, 6, 7 times) until row 83
knit 2 rows and picot bind off

I squeezed this out of a single skein of the mad tosh though I was relaxed as I had another to knit into - pleasing to have such a large shaweltte and still another skein though…now what to knit for the SAL?

Blocked dimensions:
390mm deep at widest part
End to bottom of point ( middle, outside edge) 1150mm
Inside end to top of point: 850mm
