Notes

7/12: Slow going only because it’s a pretty small gauge and I don’t have a lot of time to knit right now. However, I’m loving the pattern so far. I’m about 20 rows in and find it pretty easy to follow the pattern without getting tripped up. Lace can sometimes drive me batty, but not this pattern. It’s very easy to see where you are and what you’re doing. Very enjoyable process, so far.

The yarn is kind of splitty, but otherwise is very nice and seems perfect for this pattern.

8/10: This is the summer of baby gift knitting, which is to say that progress on this project has been slow. I am currently between baby sweaters and have come back to this one. Yesterday, I finally divided for the sleeves and body, which felt like a big milestone. The body should proceed more quickly now. However, I have two more babies due in Sept to knit for, so I will probably have to put this one down again for a while.

4/7/10: Believe it our not, I haven’t abandoned this project. Now that we’ve moved into our new house and feel a bit settled, I’ve taken to it again. It really is an enjoyable thing to knit. Hope to have it done in time for the warmer months.

5/6: I finally got my act together and finished. :)
