Making it as a skirt!!

Working top down by flipping the chart over. Altering decrease row spacing for a more subtle A-line, more straightish and less radically flared. Improvisational knitting at its finest and most risky!

After much experimentation and gnashing of teeth, I realize: Old shale and feather and fan MUST start with half of the decrease repeat at the beginning of the row or round. I haven’t charted it out to see exactly why this is so, but I can tell you that if you don’t the pattern will bias like mad and not line up.

Read while knitting! Gone Girl. Just on the knit rows.
In last 6 repeats, moved down to 4 rows rather than 5. Surprisingly stretchy bind off.
Blocked to around 26” length.

Now I need to add a lining. Light blue?
